It’s a beautifully dark tale of tragic romance and learning to love oneself.įirst of all, I have to say how much I loved the prose in this story. Well I didn’t really know what to expect going into this book but I was very pleasantly surprised. And with time and the old laws working against her, Liesl must discover who she truly is before her fate is sealed. Drawn to the strange, captivating world she finds-and the mysterious man who rules it-she soon faces an impossible decision.
